Welcome to Québec maritime‘s blog!

This blog will introduce you to the many facets of the tourist regions that make up our vast maritime destination:  Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, Côte-Nord (Manicouagan and Duplessis) and the Îles de la Madeleine. It will help you unearth tourist attractions and activities that are the hallmarks of Québec maritime. It will also introduce you to local people who are fiercely dedicated to their communities and happy to share their land with visitors. We invite you to participate in the discussion by posting your comments on the blog and by joining us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.
During the summer of 2011, two teams of bloggers (one English-speaking and one French-speaking) explored the regions of Québec maritime and shared their adventures and finds on this blog.

It’s now Tanya’s turn to accompany you in your exploration of the regions of Québec maritime. She will present our regions in a different way, with information you can’t always find in guidebooks.
