In an effort to live in harmony with the fragile ecology of the Islands, À l’Abri de la Tempête is committed to using local ingredients as much as possible in its beers. It started by creating a smoked malt using locally grown barley, and is now also harvesting wildflowers, algae and fresh herbs. Using fresh local resources ensures that À l’Abri de la Tempête beers are unique and flavourful.
