Located in the heart of Chaleur Bay region, Carleton and Maria invite you to discover a spectacular environment bursting with natural beauty and attractions of all kinds. Our 30 km (19 mi.) network of hiking trails offers breathtaking views of Chaleur Bay as well as the Gaspésie and New Brunswick coasts. Our trails vary in difficulty from easy to intermediate and are perfect for the whole family. A dozen safe, intertwined paths with numerous bridges and viewpoints will take you to the summits of Mt. Saint-Joseph (555 m or 1820 ft.) and Mt. Carleton (613 m or 2010 ft.).
For family hikers or the more adventuresome, the network offers trails that vary in difficulty from easy to intermediate. A dozen intertwined trails with numerous bridges, stairs and viewpoints.

How to get there
From Carleton: Via Route de l'Éperlan (2.5 km or 1.5 miles) Via Route de la Montagne (5-6.5 km or 3-4 miles)
From Maria: Via Route des Geais (8 km or 5 miles)
Not all access roads are paved; however, all are easy to drive. Road signs indicate the various access points along Route 132 and at each intersection.
