Designed with the greatest respect for the natural environment, the Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge offers comfortable and friendly accommodations in the heart of an untamed natural setting. It can accommodate 36 guests, thereby preserving a sense of privacy. The common areas, such as the dining room and lounge, encourage conversation and interaction with other guests. The balconies and large windows offer superb lookouts on bare mountain peaks, the Chute Hélène waterfalls and miles of virgin forest.

At 615 m (2000 ft.) in altitude in the Chic-Chocs mountain massif, the air is pure and you are filled with a sense of well-being. A magnificent landscape spreads out below you. This is a magical spot for practising your favourite activities in the company of experienced guides. There is a wide range of activities to choose from. Your playground is 60 km² (20 sq. mi.) of mountains. As a bonus, enjoy two 1000 m (3300 ft.) peaks!.

Explore this territory by mountain bike on nearly 200 km (125 mi.) of old forest roads. These trails are suitable for experienced cyclists who are in good physical condition.

How to get there

The Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge is located 55 km (35 mi.) south of Cap-Chat on the territory of the Matane Wildlife Reserve in Gaspésie.
From Québec City: 510 km / 315 mi. (6 h)
From Montréal: 750 km / 465 mi. (9 h)
From Mont-Joli or New Richmond: 150 km / 95 mi. (2 h)
From Matane: 70 km / 45 mi. (45 min)
From Sainte-Anne-des-Monts: 10 km / 6 mi. (10 min)

You must first go to the Cap-Chat reception office located by the sea. Transportation is provided from there to the Lodge.
