Excursions L'Omirlou

Board L’Omirlou and enjoy an authentic and exclusive experience during a fishing excursion. If you want, you can participate in hauling lobster traps and crew duties. On occasion, you can also watch the fishers haul in bait nets (for plaice, herring or mackerel). This unique experience will give you a taste of life as a coastal fisher.

In addition to commercial coastal fishing excursions in the morning, L’Omirlou offers daily recreational fishing expeditions for mackerel, plaice, etc. Alone, with your family or in a group, you are invited to commune with the sea off Bonaventure. This is a perfect opportunity to breathe in the fresh sea air and experience life at sea.

You are also invited to prolong your maritime adventure by visiting the Atelier L’Omirlou studio, where Line Arsenault will share her unique sea art with you. The artist collects starfish and other accidental catches on Captain Arsenault’s boat, which she uses to create unique and innovative objects. Note that the studio is open year-round.
