With Explos-Nature, you can observe marine phenomena in the St. Lawrence River and Saguenay Fjord, in the field, in workshops and in the lab. Explos-Nature also offers internships for schools and groups interested in exploring the wonders of the marine estuary, including anemones, sea urchins, crabs and several other species. These natural science internships provide a great opportunity to discover this region’s rich natural environment. Observe, touch and learn about the local fauna and flora in the company of naturalists in the lab and at various locations in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. Inquire about our family camps!
The “Night Laboratory” activity takes place on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Participants learn about the diversity of the St. Lawrence during a short film, followed by a visit to the damp laboratory to observe living animals through a microscope.
