Welcome to the Ferme 5 Étoiles Family Vacation Site! Our family farm offers you a unique opportunity to commune with nature: Spend the night at a site that is home to many different animals: moose, wolves, buffalo, deer, etc. Explore this vast natural setting with access to the Saguenay Fjord through a variety of nature and adventure activities. We also offer many lodging options suitable for all types of guests: families, friends, couples, adventurers, outdoor lovers and groups.

A multitude of four-season options: B&B, motel units, condo units, cottages (some with a view of the Saguenay Fjord), heritage home, trapper’s camp (Canadian Cabin), yurts, campsites, teepees.

Saguenay cottages with view of the fjord: Soak up the silence and beauty of this unique natural setting while staying in one of our magnificent cottages overlooking the Saguenay Fjord (7 km / 4 mi. from the farm). Each cottage has 2 or 3 rooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a bathroom with shower. For your added enjoyment: fireplace or wood stove and fire pit (with grill).

Cottages and condo units: All our cottages and condo units include a fully equipped kitchen and a living room as well as a television and sofa-bed. Some have a fireplace. Each unit also has 2 or 3 rooms. The bathroom has a shower and/or bath (towels and bedding included).

Yurts: Spend a night in a yurt, the traditional dwelling of Mongolian nomads. From the patio, listen to the wind in the trees; contemplate the craggy cliffs surrounding the Saguenay Fjord; and admire the magnificent surrounding scenery. Included: basic furniture, wood stove, firewood, comfortable beds, sleeping bags, fire pit with grill and picnic table.

Hotel Establishments

Stay in one of our units: motel, condo or cottage with fully equipped kitchenette, bedding, towels and bathroom. Some cottages and condo units have a fireplace. Each unit accommodates from 2 to 15 people.

Bed and Breakfasts

You will fall in love with our charming country-style rooms: one for each season. Some have their own sink—the bathroom is shared. A generous breakfast is included.

Campgrounds

Campground located on our farm with or without services (14 sites). Free access to our farm, where you can observe wild and domestic animals (buffalo, wolves, moose, horses, etc.) and participate in numerous activities.

Resorts

A 350-hectare (860-acre) property with access to the majestic Saguenay Fjord and wild and domestic animals. Various 4-season lodging options are available: condos, cottages and B&B. Savour our traditional cuisine and participate in nature activities.

Furnished Cottages and Apartments

Cottages accommodate 2 to 10 people along the shores of the Saguenay with splendid views of the fjord. Each includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower and fireplace or wood stove. Bedding and towels also included.

Unusual Accommodations

New: Spend the night in a yurt, the traditional dwelling of Mongolian nomads. From the patio, admire the stunning scenery surrounding the fjord. You can also enjoy a memorable and magical night in a teepee or trapper’s camp (Canadian Cabin).

How to get there

From Tadoussac via Route 138, continue to the intersection of routes 138 and 172. Turn left on Route 172 and drive to the village of Sacré-Coeur, 6 km (3¾ mi.) past the church on the left.

From Chicoutimi-Nord via Route 172 South, 6 km (3¾ mi.) before the village of Sacré-Coeur and 60 m (200 ft.) before the rest area.

Follow the blue tourist signs for Ferme 5 Étoiles.
