The Little Red School House is part of the Council for Anglophone Magdalen Islanders’ Historical Heritage Complex. Located in a bright and welcoming former one-room schoolhouse, the museum is a reminder of a simpler time, when students of all ages gathered to learn their daily lessons.

The museum gives visitors the opportunity to visit the old schoolhouse and contains the original blackboard, hardwood floor as well as two desks. Over the year, the museum’s collection has evolved to include old photos, stories and artefacts that will immerse you in the past.

In addition to guided tours by locals, the museum’s collection gives visitors a glimpse into the history and way of life of the Islands’ English-speaking community.
