The Mary Travers historical site is a lively place where visitors will be introduced to the power and vitality of Québec and French Canada’s first singer/songwriter. In an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1930s, discover the Gaspesian way of life in earlier times by visiting our permanent exhibit and listening to La Bolduc’s songs. Our mission is to recreate a slice of the life and times of La Bolduc.
Discover and learn while having fun! Visit our exhibit room and enjoy Mary’s tea, shows, folk singing, jigs, storytelling, plays, our gift shop and other cultural activities. We have done our utmost to please our visitors! All of these activities combine to charm our visitors and transport them to that place of therapeutic laughter, love and optimistic vitality that made Mary Travers a national folk hero.
