Watch the artisan glassblowers of Verrerie La Méduse at work and take advantage of your visit to bring home a unique souvenir of the Îles de la Madeleine! Verrerie La Méduse is an art glassworks located in a century-old heritage schoolhouse. Here, local artisans have been producing extraordinary glass objects for 25 years. Interpretive panels describe the glassblowing process and explain the techniques used by artisans to create beautiful glass objects. In the summer, watch the artisans at work and learn more about the techniques they use. The boutique displays unique decorative pieces, as well as jewellery from Émerance and pottery from La Poterie du Cap Blanc. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to bring back a souvenir from the Islands! The studio and boutique are open year-round.
