My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and decided to take a trip to the Madeleine Islands last September. I can't tell you enough as to how much we enjoyed this trip. The people were fabulous to us, and the food was simply divine. There is nothing tastier than French cuisine. We stayed in a combination of Bed and Breakfast homes and cottages.
The first day we arrived, people came out of their homes to wave and welcome us. Right then we felt at home and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The scenery was simply beautiful. The ferry ride across was really something to experience as it was my husband and I first trip on the ferry.
