Côte-Nord
Côte-Nord, which is made up of the tourism regions of
Manicouagan and
Duplessis, is an
immense territory on the north shore of the Estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence.

This region is a favourite among snowmobilers. The
White Trail, which runs from Tadoussac to Blanc-Sablon, will take you across the
longest snowmobile bridge in North America—a thrilling winter experience! The more adventurous can go as far as the
Lower North Shore, where snowmobiles are the only form of land transportation.
Manicouagan

With its bays, coves and cliffs,
Saguenay Fjord National Park is home to some spectacular scenery. Admire the St. Lawrence River and the majestic Saguenay Fjord while skiing or snowshoeing. You can also ice fish here: every winter, colourful little fishing villages spring up on the ice of the Saguenay Fjord.
In the Sacré-Coeur area, the
Ferme 5 Étoiles Family Vacation Site offers many activities, including ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and dogsledding. Explore the surrounding

area with a guide to observe wildlife (including black bears, moose, white-tailed deer and wolves) or take part in a guided snowmobile excursion through this
magical countryside. The farm offers a wide variety of lodging options: B&B, cottages, heritage home, yurts, teepees, igloo and more.
In Baie-Comeau, the
Jardin des Glaciers (Garden of the Glaciers) invites hiking and snowshoe enthusiasts to discover its trails, which lead to
maritime observation sites.
Duplessis

The Duplessis region covers an
immense and snowy wilderness area, which is ideal for winter activities. Climb aboard the
M/V Nordik Express supply ship to discover
unique landscapes and visit charming francophone, anglophone and Innu villages all along the coast.
Located on an island in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence,
Anticosti National Park is an
exceptional winter destination. In the area surrounding the village of Port-Menier, you can go ice fishing, snowshoeing and hiking in the forest. Keep your eyes peeled, as white-tailed deer are never far: there are over 120,000 of them on the island! Rent a snowmobile on site and ride the trails to enjoy
stunning scenery.
