Gaspésie
An immense territory surrounded by the sea, Gaspésie is renowned for its
heavy snowfall, which makes it a prime winter destination.

Nature lovers will want to explore the Chic-Choc Mountains, a winter wonderland for
mountain sports enthusiasts. Enjoy a getaway at the heart of this stunning wilderness at the
Gîte du Mont-Albert hotel in
Gaspésie National Park or the
Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge in the Matane Wildlife Reserve. While you are here, observe moose, caribou and white-tailed deer as well as breathtaking panoramic views.
South of Cap-Chat, the
Village Grande-Nature Chic-Chocs also offers
magnificent views of the Chic-Choc Mountains and gives you access to snowmobile, snowshoe and ski trails. Various lodging options are available on site.

At the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula,
Forillon National Park of Canada gives visitors access to
sea and mountain scenery as well as a multitude of outdoor activities. For a memorable experience, spend the night in a
yurt or try out
winter camping.
On the southern side of the peninsula, in the Chaleur Bay region, the
Pin Rouge ski resort offers snowmobilers and other winter enthusiasts the opportunity to stay in
cosy chalets while enjoying their favourite winter activities. This site is ideal for those searching for the perfect balance of outdoor adventure and comfort.

Gaspésie is also crisscrossed by
2000 kilometres (1200 miles) of
snowmobile trails that offer many scenic lookouts. Explore the coast and the interior all the way to
Percé Rock, which looks even more extraordinary imprisoned in ice.
