Adapted from the brochure
The Motorcycle Tourist Circuits of Gaspésie
Protected from the wind, Chaleur Bay benefits from a
microclimate that warms its waters. The region also offers
panoramic views and numerous
rest areas.
Stop in Pointe-à-la-Croix to admire the stunning view of the Appalachian Mountains from the top of a
210-metre (700-foot) lookout. The stretch of road to Carleton-sur-Mer offers several panoramic views of New Brunswick.
The seaside resort of Carleton-sur-Mer will charm you with its
beaches and stunning sea and mountain
scenery. The
mild climate of the Chaleur Bay region extends to New Richmond and Bonaventure, both of which offer many opportunities to enjoy
aquatic activities in the bay and nearby rivers. Further east, the painted fire hydrants in New Carlisle are sure to make you smile.
Following the coast from Paspébiac to Port-Daniel, you will come across many
rest areas and beaches where you can relax, while the
undulating and winding road to Gascons makes for a fun ride!
