architectural heritage of Gaspésie.
From Sainte-Flavie eastward, the coast is dotted with roadside
rest areas where you can stop and stretch your legs while admiring the St. Lawrence River. Visit the
Reford Gardens and their
International Garden Festival—a must-see in the region. Further east, you will ride by the impressive
windmill park in Saint-Ulric.
Heading south from Matane to Amqui, keep an eye out for the many
covered bridges that are part of this area’s rich architectural heritage. On your way back to Sainte-Flavie, you will ride through several picturesque towns and villages, including Mont-Joli, where you can admire the town’s numerous
murals.
