Adapted from the brochure
The Motorcycle Tourist Circuits of Gaspésie
As the St. Lawrence River widens into the sea, this scenic drive will take you through
charming coastal villages.
In Cap-Chat, you cannot miss the impressive
windmill park that dominates the landscape. Further east,
beaches,
parks and
hiking trails can be found along the coast near Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, the gateway to Gaspésie National Park.
The
winding road that crosses magnificent
Gaspésie National Park follows the Cascapédia River, which is considered
one of the 10 best salmon rivers in the world in terms of the size of the fish. This is also a great place for
hiking and
wildlife observation. Keep your eyes peeled—you are in moose country!
Riding south, you will end your trip in New Richmond, in the Chaleur Bay region.
