Gaspé: Think Big!

The century-old Pointe-à-la-Renommée Lighthouse is the most travelled lighthouse in the world! After 20 years of exile in the Port of Québec, it was returned to its original site in 1997.

Gaspé boasts three magnificent salmon rivers, all of which flow into the St. Lawrence within 10 minutes of the centre of town. Enjoy the ultimate fly fishing experience on the famous York River, crystal-clear Saint-Jean River or intriguing Dartmouth River.

Beautiful Haldimand Beach is located 8 km (5 mi.) from the centre of Gaspé in a stunning natural setting, with Forillon National Park in the background. Easy to get to and providing all the services you need, this beach is a perfect family gathering spot blending sea and sand.

Gaspé is surrounded by water. Whether the St. Lawrence, other rivers or stunning Gaspé Bay, water is everywhere, and visitors and local residents make the most of it. Enjoy a kayaking excursion to the seal colony and meet the bay’s inhabitants!
