National parks
Many hiking trails are found in the nine
national parks of Québec and Canada in our regions. These trails vary in difficulty and terrain, but all off spectacular outdoor adventures.
Regional trails
The regions of
Bas-Saint-Laurent,
Gaspésie,
Manicouagan,
Duplessis and the
Îles de la Madeleine all offer hiking trail networks. Explore trails that meander through towns and villages, parks, the countryside or the forest and discover the hidden treasures of our regions.
Trekking
Visitors who are interested in longer hikes can explore the following trails:
- The International Appalachian Trail crosses the Gaspé Peninsula from Matapédia to Cap-Gaspé in Forillon National Park of Canada.
- The National Trail in Bas-Saint-Laurent starts in Trois-Pistoles and runs all the way to Dégelis.
You can also hike segments of these trails if you only want to take a short hike.
