The following terms of use present the rules in effect on the www.quebecmaritime.ca website and the Québec maritime blog. The use of this site is governed by these terms and conditions as well as by the confidentiality policy set out below.

These terms of use apply to all domain names managed by Le Québec maritime, including www.snowmobilequebecmaritime.ca, www.quebecbythesea.ca and www.quebeccotemer.ca.

1. BLOG COMMENTS

Comments posted on the Québec maritime blog must follow basic rules of civility. Before you post a comment, ask yourself if you would let your mother or child read it and act accordingly. Frankness has its place, but please be courteous and avoid being unpleasant. Le Québec maritime reserves the right to delete any comments it deems to have violated the above conditions.

 

2. REPORTING A SITUATION TO LE QUÉBEC MARITIME

If you notice content on the site that is inappropriate or does not comply with the terms of use, please report it to Le Québec maritime by emailing us at webmaster@quebecmaritime.ca.

To report content for copyright infringement or breach of privacy, please email Le Québec maritime at webmaster@quebecmaritime.ca.

Le Québec maritime reserves the right to delete any content that has been reported.

The www.quebecmaritime.ca website and its contents are hosted by Le Québec maritime and its partners.

In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions of these terms and conditions, the French version shall prevail.

Le Québec maritime is committed to safeguarding your privacy and the personal information published on the www.quebecmaritime.ca website.

2. PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THE SITE

Personal and confidential information is requested when you enter a contest, sign up for a newsletter, request information or order a brochure on the www.quebecmaritime.ca website as well as when you post a comment on the blog. Le Québec maritime applies security measures, including recognized encryption methods, to guarantee the confidentiality of your email address as well as other information gathered when entering a contest, signing up for a newsletter, requesting information, ordering a brochure or posting a comment on the blog.

4. OTHER INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY BY THE SITE

When you access the www.quebecmaritime.ca website, information is automatically exchanged between the computer you are using, the site server and the servers at Google Analytics, a third party tasked with compiling statistics on website traffic.
