Careful attention is required to produce the specialty products made at this sugar bush in Témiscouata. Domaine Acer, a maple economuseum, specializes in alcoholic beverages and other fine maple products. Discover our house specialties: Val Ambré, a classic, dark-golden aperitif similar to Pineau des Charentes; Charles-Aimé Robert, which resembles a tawny porto; Prémices d’Avril, a dry white maple wine; and Mousse des Bois, a sparkling maple wine.

We also produce other fine maple products such as syrups, butters, jellies and Belgian-style chocolates. Visit us to find out why maple trees produce sap and unravel the mysteries of the processes involved in transforming that sap into syrup and alcoholic beverages. Tour our cellars, sample our many maple delights in our boutique and take home a delicious recipe!

Late March to late April and June 24 to September 1: open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open the rest of the year Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also open Thanksgiving weekend (October 8 to 10). Closed for three weeks after Christmas. Tours available from late March to mid October.

Interpretation Sites
A maple economuseum specializing in alcoholic beverages. Guided tours of the facilities and cellars. Discover the processes involved in transforming maple sap into syrup or alcoholic beverages. Tastings and gift shop.
Arts and Crafts
Learn the inspiring history of Vallier Robert, who started fermenting maple sap into alcoholic beverages in 1990. Tour the cellars and visit the sugar shack, where you will also find out about the benefits of maple products and how to cook with them.
Regional Flavours
Four alcoholic beverages made from fermented maple sap and turned into a festive bubbly, mild aperitifs aged for 10 years in oak casks and a semi-dry wine. Other maple products: butter, walnut butter, jelly, syrup, chocolates and candies.
