Located in downtown Rivière-du-Loup, Parc des Chutes (Falls Park) offers 10 km (6 mi.) of marked hiking trails along the river through a heritage orchard.
The park’s main attraction is a 33-metre (108-foot) waterfall, from which you can admire an impressive view (via a footbridge).
An old hydroelectric power station located at the foot of the falls has been restored and is producing electricity once again. A new digital station offers 360-degree technology with an audio clip. Bring your headphones for a more immersive experience.
