Website

Valmont Plein Air offers incredible self-guided kayaking adventures on the Cap-Chat River. You can choose from two different trajectories: a 5-km (3-mi.) trip, which is perfect for first-time paddlers and accessible to children; and a 17-km (11-mi.) trip, which is not much more difficult and allows you to spend more time in nature.

Valmont Plein Air also offers transportation to the International Appalachian Trail (IAT), where you can hike on the ridges of some of Québec’s most beautiful mountains.

The starting point for these activities is a friendly bistro-bar (temporarily closed in 2023) located in a beautiful setting where mountains, sea and river meet. Savour our pasta dishes, fine pizzas, salads and sandwiches. Our chef will surprise you. We also offer fabulous espresso coffee and a vast selection of Québec and imported beers. You can also access the Internet at any time.
