At work, I particularly love…
Showcasing the most beautiful regions of Québec! I especially enjoy being part of this enthusiastic team, which I’m happy to come back to every morning (especially you, Marie-Eve!! 😉 ).

In our team, I’m the one who…
Uses my colleagues as culinary guinea pigs! A few times a year, I bring in my latest dessert experiment, and my Christmas cookies have become a bit of a tradition… So far, nobody has died, and I haven’t heard any complaints! 😉

Outside work, I’m often…
By the water! I like being by the sea, to go for walks and enjoy the fresh air or to relax with a good book.

If I was an animal from the maritime regions of Québec, I’d be…
Probably a hummingbird? Something small that moves fast!

If I was a hashtag, I’d be…
#PetitLarousse (the name of a French dictionary).
Many of my colleagues like to ask me questions about the French language rather than look stuff up in the dictionary! But I’m always happy to help. 🙂

I’m also known as…
Anne-Jo! I think more people call me Anne-Jo than Anne-Josée, whether they are friends, family members or work colleagues!

One day I’ll visit…
Austria, and when I do, I’ll run through a field singing, “The hills are alive… with the sound of muuuuuuusiiiiic!!” But also Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Belgium… And I’d like to go back to Italy and France… Oh and I want to visit Disney World too…! 🙂

In my suitcase, you’ll always find…
Way too much stuff!

One of my favourite parts of the maritime regions of Québec is…
Lighthouses. I think they’re both mysterious and impressive. And they’re always located in exceptionally beautiful places!

I confess, I really love…
Cranking up the music in my car and singing along when I’m travelling long distances on my own. And it’s usually when I see people laughing in nearby cars that I realize I’ve been making funny faces and bopping along to the music…

The one food I can’t live without is…
Seafood. I’d eat it every day! Fresh crab, stuffed lobster rolls, shrimp risotto, a big plate of mussels in white wine, clam chowder, pan-fried scallops… my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I’m particularly proud of…
Having come back to this corner of the world (where I grew up) and now introducing people to these regions.

I don’t want to brag, but I’m rather good at…
Remembering everything! From important information (such as old work projects, what’s in our huge photo bank, birthdays, people’s food preferences and allergies) to less important information (which singer was that actor once married to, who is in that TV show that I’m not even watching, etc. I can even answer questions like “Who was that guy who was in that movie…?”)!
