WHO WE ARE

Le Québec maritime was founded in 1997 by five tourism associations who wanted to promote their regions to markets outside Québec. These regions are:

- Bas-Saint-Laurent
- Gaspésie
- Manicouagan
- Duplessis
- Îles de la Madeleine

Representatives from these five tourism associations sit on our board of directors.

OUR PRODUCTS

United by a common asset, the sea, our five regions offer a multitude of tourist activities and services positioned as follows:

An exceptional coastal region and a majestic river that turns into the sea, which benefit from a distinct and authentic maritime heritage and culture

OUR MARKETING ACTIVITIES

Our main role is to promote the destination of Québec maritime as well as its attractions, activities and services to tourists from outside Québec via marketing activities such as:

- production and distribution of promotional material
- creation and updating of a Website and several specialized mini sites
- dissemination of advertising campaigns
- participation in tourism shows, marketplaces and missions
- participation in media events
- organization of familiarization tours for tour operators
- organization of press tours
- frequent contacts with key representatives of the distribution network (tour operators, representatives abroad, travel agents, etc.)

We also offer consulting services to organizations interested in markets outside Québec as well as a research service based on data collected from organizations and partners: VIGIE-touristique.
