Discover the wildlife of Gaspésie at the Bioparc!
Visit the Bioparc to discover Gaspésie’s natural heritage through five of this region’s ecosystems: the bay, the barachois, the river, the forest and the tundra. Along a nature trail of over 1 km (0.7 mi.), you will encounter over 30 indigenous animal species in semi-liberty and over 70 plant species in their respective ecosystems.
Explore the insectarium and its impressive collection of living and preserved insects. Also visit the friendly animals at the petting farm.
Participate in activities led by enthusiastic naturalist guides. Test your knowledge and touch skulls, fur and even live animals! Follow the animal attendants at meal times and let them introduce you to the animals they take care of on a daily basis.
In the evenings, attend our talks or participate in storytelling activities on full-moon nights.

Interpretation Sites
To find out more about our natural environment, participate in activities led by enthusiastic naturalists: interpretive activities, talks, VIP tours for groups, feeding rounds, storytelling nights, etc.
Wildlife Observation
Come and observe harbour seals, caribou, moose, white-tailed deer and several species of birds, including birds of prey and various aquatic birds. From the vantage point of a walkway, you can also observe black bears, the largest of our carnivores.
