Enjoy a stay at the Matane Wildlife Reserve in a campground or cabin. Spend a day or longer on the reserve and get the most out of your experience by exploring this exceptional wildlife territory, where moose roam freely.

Our 40 semi-serviced or serviced campsites are available from early June to early September, so outdoor lovers can enjoy the natural beauty of the wildlife reserve and live side by side with nature. A group site can accommodate from 10 to 20 people.

Inquire about a stay in our cabins. Each cabin is located on the edge of a lake or river and has all the amenities required for your comfort and self-sufficiency: propane gas facilities (heating, lighting, water heater, range and fridge), everything you need to prepare and serve meals, and a shower and toilet. In most cabins, a woodstove contributes to the cosy atmosphere.

The Chic-Chocs Mountain Lodge, which is also in the Matane Wildlife Reserve, offers you a memorable experience surrounded by bare peaks. Perched 615 m (2000 ft.) above sea level, this charming mountain lodge provides a great change of scenery with its vast landscapes and warm and friendly service. Come and explore this quiet and peaceful territory and observe three of Québec's largest members of the deer family: moose, caribou and white-tailed deer.
