The Témiscouata Tour takes you through forest and lake scenery. It follows regional trails #544, #563 and #571 as well as Trans-Québec trails #35 and #85, looping around Lake Pohénégamook and Lake Témiscouata, two of the largest lakes in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
In Pohénégamook, be sure to observe the herd of some 500 deer that comes to feed in this area in the winter. This ride will take you across Lake Pohénégamook and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
On your way to Lake Témiscouata on Trans-Québec trail #85, you will ride along a very straight segment of the trail that follows a former railway line. Trails #544 and #571 cross through forested areas where you may spot a variety of wildlife.
