I am a proud Innu from the Unamen Shipu community on the Lower North Shore of Québec. No roads lead here. Visiting us means discovering another wold. Our community is also known as La Romaine.
Our new fully equipped seaside cabins with 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 1 sofa-bed) offer Internet access, a kitchenette and a bathroom. They are located directly in our Innu community and offer a magnificent view of the beach. A multipurpose hall is available for receptions of up to 50 people.
Several activities are offered on site in all seasons: guided tours of the community, wildlife and plant observation on the islands in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, salmon fishing, sea kayaking, river canoeing, traditional lobster trapping, etc. For more information, visit our community’s website: www.winipeukut.ca
We will come and pick you up at the airport or the wharf and will take you to the grocery store to pick up food.
We look forward to welcoming you!
