Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence, Rimouski offers all the advantages of a vibrant city along with easy access to quiet natural settings. The city therefore offers a wide variety of services, a bustling downtown and many entertainment options, including several festivals. Looking for fresh air? Visit Parc national du Bic, where you can go hiking and sea kayaking as well as observe wildlife. You can also head inland to the Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer to discover the highest suspension footbridge in Québec, or board a Zodiac to explore Saint-Barnabé Island, just off the mainland. History and culture buffs won’t want to miss the Pointe-au-Père area, where they can admire the second tallest lighthouse in the country.
