From April to mid-January, the Bella Desgagnés transports people and goods to the Lower North Shore on a weekly basis. Board this vessel in Rimouski, Sept-Îles, Havre-Saint-Pierre, Natashquan or Blanc-Sablon and enjoy a unique and authentic Côte-Nord experience. The ship stops in six isolated villages of the Lower North Shore: Kegaska, La Romaine, Harrington Harbour, Tête-à-la-Baleine, La Tabatière and Saint-Augustin. It also makes a stop in Port-Menier on Anticosti Island.
One-way or round-trip tickets are available in either direction. Maritime packages including boat trip, meals and cabin start from $200/person/night based on double occupancy in a standard cabin.
The Bella Desgagnés offers 160 berths in 63 cabins, all with private facilities. (Two cabins are adapted for people with reduced mobility.) The ship also has interior lounges with over 370 plane-style business-class seats with entertainment systems that give you access to TV shows and video games. A friendly bistro with a bar is also available on deck 8 of the ship and can accommodate up to 70 people. For the comfort and safety of passengers, onboard amenities include a fitness centre ($), arcade games, smoking areas and elevators. The cafeteria seating 112 and the dining room seating 88 offer menus featuring local seafood. Pets can also travel in comfort and safety in the ship’s kennel.
