From Baie-Comeau, head north on Route 389 to explore a land of contrasts and extremes. You will be amazed by the hydroelectric facilities located at kilometres 22 and 214. Manic-2, the second largest hollow-joint gravity dam in the world, and Manic-5, the largest multiple-arch-and-buttress dam in the world, are both worth the trip! Fishing enthusiasts will also be delighted with this scenic drive, which leads to many lakes and rivers on public land and ultimately to Fermont and Labrador. If you are a fan of hills and curves, this paved road meandering through the forest is for you!
