Located in an exceptional natural environment in Gaspésie where sea meets mountains, Cap Aventure has adopted an educational approach and promotes sustainable observation techniques. You will be charmed by the isolated silhouette of Cap Gaspé, which juts out into the sea, as well as by the swooping seabirds and the marine mammals found in the waters off the cape. Bordered by pebble beaches and boasting spectacular sunsets, Gaspé Bay will leave you with unforgettable memories of these moments in harmony with the sea.

Sea kayaking

Departing from the Grande-Grave site in Forillon National Park or the Cap-aux-Os Beach, enjoy a unique guided sea kayaking excursion while respecting the ecological integrity of this area’s natural heritage.

Accessible even to beginners, this 3-hour outing takes participants to a colony of grey and harbour seals. Observe hundreds of seals and spend unforgettable moments with these playful animals.

Certified interpreter guides will introduce you to the basics of sea kayaking. You will also be provided with all the equipment you need, including a waterproof bag for your personal effects.

Zodiac safaris

Cap Aventure offers Zodiac safaris to observe whales, seals, cliffs and seabirds in a comfortable 12-passenger Zodiac, accompanied by a captain who is also a certified interpreter guide.

Seven species of whales are regularly found in the waters of the St. Lawrence in this area.

Excursions are approximately 3 hours long and will introduce you to the wonders of the Forillon Peninsula and the surrounding marine environment, from the sea. Come and observe whales as well as hundreds of seals and spend unforgettable moments with these amazing animals. This unique experience will give you the opportunity to discover the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula.

Equipment is provided for Zodiac safaris, which also include a safety briefing, seal observation as well as eco-interpretation of marine mammals, seabirds, geology, history, navigation, winds, currents and tides.

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP)

Cap Aventure offers guided stand-up paddleboarding excursions departing from Penouille Beach, in Forillon National Park, to admire colourful sunsets.

This fun activity is perfect for those who want to discover the thrill of improving their balance while gliding on the surface of the water!
