The SEBKA riverside park offers a variety of outdoor activities for sports enthusiasts of all kinds. Climb the Saint-André cliffs, which are among the most famous in Québec. With ideal rock quality for climbing (orthoquartzite), these cliffs offer 115 routes for all levels and a breathtaking view once you reach the top! Note that rock climbing gear is not provided.

New climbing courses: “Kamou: First Contact,” “K1: Autonomy,” “K2: Anchor Clinic,” “K3: Rappelling Clinic” and “King Kong: Climbing for Kids.” All climbing courses are offered by qualified instructors with climbing gear provided.

Paddle on the majestic St. Lawrence in a sea kayak. Discover the rich diversity of the river on a guided excursion to the Kamouraska Islands, where you may even encounter marine mammals!

Trek through the forest or along the shores of the St. Lawrence, either on your own or in the company of a guide. The 12 km (7.5 mi.) trail has lots of surprises in store, including diverse flora and fauna as well as several panoramic viewpoints where you can admire the magnificent surrounding landscapes. Be sure to try out the challenge course and stop for a break in the picnic area. This corner of paradise also offers camping facilities.

Cost

Hiking: $3/adult and $1/child aged 6 to 13. Sea kayaking: $70/person for 6 hours, $65/person for 5 hours, $60/person for 4 hours, $55/person for 3 hours. Climbing $10/day (gear not provided). Climbing courses starting from $70/person for 6 hours.

Activities available

Hiking
Enjoy a pleasant hike on the 12-km (7.5-mi.) trail, which is dotted with information panels. You will be fascinated by the maritime flora and fauna found along the shores of the majestic St. Lawrence. Guided hikes available.
Sea Kayaking
Paddle on the majestic St. Lawrence in a sea kayak. Discover the rich biodiversity of the estuary during a guided excursion to the Kamouraska archipelago, where you may even encounter a few marine mammals!
Wildlife Observation
During a guided sea kayaking excursion, you will encounter marine mammals (belugas and harbour seals) and will be able to observe seabirds, birds of prey and forest birds. Keep an eye out for snow geese, Canada geese and ducks in flight.
Rock Climbing and Treetop Trekking
The Saint-André cliffs offer ideal climbing conditions and a stunning view of the St. Lawrence. Over 100 climbing routes for all levels.
Bird Watching
During a guided sea kayaking excursion, you will encounter a variety of seabirds, birds of prey and forest birds. Keep an eye out for snow geese, Canada geese and ducks in flight.

How to get there

From Highway 20, take exit 480 and head north. In Saint-André, take Route 132 West. The SEBKA is between Kamouraska and Saint-André-de-Kamouraska.
